Red Lentils
NATURE’S TRUTH® Red Lentils are an excellent source of protein and fiber. Red lentils have a rich history of being one of the earliest cultivated crops, dating back 10,000 years in the Middle East. The name comes from their distinct shape and light red tint. Red lentils have a mild, slightly sweeter flavor than regular lentils. They cook quickly and break down into a creamy texture, perfect for soups, stews and curries.

I cook these all the time. I put a little ham seasoning in, and some dried onion flakes, so good! The next day, they are even better!
